Resident Lighting Designer

Claire Doty

Claire Doty is a lighting, scenic, props designer, electrician, and carpenter in the Chicago area. She has designed at Columbia College Chicago, Columbia College Chicago’s Dance Center, and Alluvion Dance Chicago. In 2015, she was the Lighting Intern in the Jeff Award winning production All Our Tragic. She is also a member of the Electrics Crew at Columbia College Chicago. Claire would like to thank Johnny Huntoon, Alluvion Dance Chicago, and all artists participating in Emergence for their incredible talent. She would also like to thank her family, Bob, Karen, and Merril Doty.
