Caitlyn Cargnoni

Caitlyn Cargnoni is a contemporary performance artist based in Chicago, Illinois. She received her early training at Capitol Dance Company in San Jose, California, performing in a multitude of styles. In 2024, she graduated from the University of California, Irvine with her B.S. in Earth System Science and B.F.A. in Dance Performance. While at UCI, she had the pleasure of studying under Lar Lubovitch, Katarzyna Skarpetowska, Charlotte Griffin, Tong Wang, and Vitor Luiz. She maintains a deep passion for the sciences as well as the arts, and hopes to find ways to delve deeper into both, exploring their intrinsic entanglement.

In 2025 Caitlyn joined Visceral Dance Chicago as a trainee under the guidance of Cait Cucchiara and Nick Pupillo, performing works by Braeden Barnes, Megan Rhodes, and company members Justin Bisnauthsing and Aden Hurst. She has spent recent summers dancing at NW Dance Project, Backhausdance, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, where she had the pleasure of dancing for Jacqueline Burnett, Maleek Washington, and Ching Ching Wong. Most recently, Caitlyn has been training at Chicago Movement Collective under the leadership of Ethan Kirschbaum, and is thrilled to be joining Alluvion Dance for their twelfth season!
