Ashton Craven

Ashton Craven is a Chicago-based freelance contemporary and tap artist. She spent her childhood training at Dancenter North in Libertyville under the direction of Stacy Keller. Ashton holds a B.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California-Irvine, where she studied with Molly Lynch, Charlotte Griffin, Lar Lubovitch, Katarzyna Skarpetowska, and Tong Wang.

Currently, Ashton dances with Alluvion Dance Chicago and Darvin Dances, and is an Administrative Assistant for Ballet Chicago. Since returning to Chicago, she has had the pleasure of performing in works by Jacqueline Burnett, Jonathan Alsberry, and Abdiel Figueroa Reyes. She has also had the incredible opportunity to perform with Chicago Movement Collective, the Chicago Tap Allstars, and for the Chicago Dance Health Fund in the Dance for Life Finale and Dance Divas. Ashton is thrilled for all that is to come in Alluvion’s 13th season!
