Caitlyn Cargnoni

Caitlyn Cargnoni (she/her) is a Chicago-based artist originally from San Jose, California. She graduated with a BS in Earth System Science and a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of California-Irvine, where she had the pleasure of studying under Lar Lubovitch, Katarzyna Skarpetowska, Charlotte Griffin, Tong Wang, Cyrian Reed, and Vitor Luiz.

Since residing in Chicago, Caitlyn has had the opportunity to perform works by notable artists including Abdiel Figueroa Reyes, Jacqueline Burnett, Maleek Washington, Ching Ching Wong, and Justin Bisnauthsing, and recently had the opportunity to co-choreograph a piece alongside Ashton Craven for Chicago Movement Collective’s spring show. Additionally, she performed in the finale of Chicago Dance Health Fund’s Dance for Life in 2025, choreographed by Jonathan Alsberry, and completed the Visceral Dance Chicago Trainee Program in 2025 before dancing with Chicago Movement Collective during the 2025-26 season.

Caitlyn is in her second season with Alluvion Dance Chicago, and is currently working with choreographer Kalie Ferry on an evening length project, to be debuted in April of 2027.
