Johnny Huntoon

Johnny Huntoon is a choreographer and Executive Director of Alluvion Dance Chicago. Earning his BA in Dance and Business Management from Columbia College Chicago in 2016, Huntoon has choreographed works throughout the US primarily on Alluvion Dance Chicago, Cerqua Rivera Dance Theater and Columbia College Chicago at the Auditorium Theater. Through his professional dancing experience under Mark Yonally, Cherice Barton, AC Ciulla, Rhonda Miller and Gregg Russell, Huntoon’s works feature a contemporary foundation mixed with the intricacies of movements and rhythm found within tap dance. 

Ever since the creation of Alluvion Dance Chicago in 2014, Huntoon is dedicated to offering choreographic opportunities for up and coming choreographers to present their work. Throughout those years, ADC has had the opportunity to showcase over 130 up and coming artists from throughout the US right here in Chicago, Illinois.
